Travel like the Indian Maharajas used to ‘’ON THE PALACE ON WHEELS’’ a unique experience. The vintage carriages, belonging to the old princely families (one dating back to 1989) have been restored to give you this tour into the past. The Palace on Wheels tour in India operates only during the winter months presently and is shortly to be air - conditioned.
Day 01 - Delhi/Jaipur
Evening, dinner on Board the Palace on Wheels at Delhi station and then departure for Jaipur. Overnight.
Day 02 - Jaipur/Chittorgarh
Morning after breakfast in Jaipur, on board depart by coach for sightseeing of City palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal. Shopping and lunch at Rambagh Palace. Afternoon visit Fort Amber with elephant rides, Nahargarh. Dinner and Cultural Programme at a hotel. Evening depart on the train for Chittorgarh.
Day 03 - Chittorgarh/Udaipur
In Chittorgarh after breakfast on board visit the Fort. Proceed by bus for Lake Palace hotel in Udaipur for Lunch and then sightseeing. Boat ride on the Lake Pichola. Dinner on Board. Overnight.
Day 04 - Udaipur/Jaiselmer
Breakfast on Board. Morning you are free for shopping, swimming etc. Afternoon after lunch, on board depart for Jaisalmer. Dinner on Board. Overnight.
Day 05 - Jaiselmer/Jodhpur
After breakfast on board depart for sightseeing of Jaisalmer. Lunch on Board. Afternoon visit the Cenotaphs and enjoy camel rides. Dinner at a Hotel. Evening depart by train for Jodhpur.
Day 06 - Jaiselmer/Jodhpur
After breakfast on board proceed for sightseeing of the Fort and Jaswant Thada. Lunch at the Palace hotel, continuing by the train to Bharatpur. Tea and dinner on board. Overnight.
Day 07 - Bharatpur/Delhi
Morning proceed by bus for the Bird Sanctuary. Breakfast at the Tourist Bungalow. Continue by bus for Fatehpur Sikri continuing on the Agra. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon, sightseeing of the Taj Mahal and the Fort. Evening teat and dinner on board. Depart back for Delhi.
Day 08 - Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Breakfast on board and transfer to the hotel.

Booking will be confirmed on receipt of advance deposit only.
(1) We require 20% advance deposit to hold the booking.
(2) Balance 80% must reach us 30 days prior to tour departure date.
Cancellation Rules & Charges
Bookings will be cancelled only on receipt of written requests.
Cancellation Charges will be
(1) 5% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled 60 days prior to departure.
(2) 20% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled 30 days prior to departure.
(3) 50% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled 15 days before departure.
(4) 100% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled less than 15 days before departure.
Amendments
Charges be levied at half the rate of cancellation charges.

The Royal Orient is the second ‘palace on wheels’ in India. Offering a mesmerising seven day journey through the states if Gujarat and Rahasthan the train is fitted with ultra deluxe comforts.
The train leaves every Wednesday from Delhi. On the first day if the tour you visit the historic Chittaurgarh Fort in Rajasthan of the tour your visit the City of Lake Udaipur where excursions are organised to the City Palace , Saheliyon ki Bari (royal gardens), the handicrafts village of Shilpgra and boat rides in Lake Pichola. The next four days are spent travelling through Gujarat.
The palace traversed are as vibrant and colorful as the famous Gujarati embroidery. At Junagadh you will be moved by the rock edict of Ashok, the king who took to Buddhism and non violence after a bloody battle. You will feel the spiritual in the ancient Jain temple city if Palitana. You will soak your feet in the warm waters of the Arabian Sea and laze on the beach at Ahmedpur Mandvi. You will safari into the fabled jungle of Sasangir to see the only lions outside Africa. You can shop for exquisite handicrafts as old as history, in shop blaring the latest Western hits in India’s textile capital of Ahmedabad the centre of Gandhi’s fight against the British Raj.
The train then again retraces its route to Jaipur and from there it heads for Delhi.
1855 was the year the majestic Fairy Queen roiled out for East Indian Railway. The engine is the oldest working engine in the world . Now, the Fairy Queen steams again on an unforgettable weekend trips to Alwar. From there, a short drive will take them to tiger country and overnight stay at a legendary palace.

India’s capital is a mix of the old world charm and a pulsatng megapolis. Delhi is famous for its Mughal and British monuments like the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House. Connaught Place offers shoppers a haven to buy small curios as well as priceless crafted articles.
Sariska
Famous for its Tiger Reserve where magnificent tigers, leopards, sambhars, nilgai and chinkara cab be spotted in there natural habit. Sariska also has ruins of 9th and 10 century temples and us anb ideal leisure spot for those interested in wildlife and ancient architecture.
